With the clocks going forward tonight I've just realised that all the tournaments are going to shift forward one hour which means 1am and 3am for the US pro tables and the best of 5 9ball tourny is in the graveyard midnight slot.

This is not good. I'm not liking the times of my favourite events.

all i can say is hopefully nick reads this and keeps the tournament times as they currently stand at this present moment.

I think it's a good thing.

There will be just as many people who the current times don't suit, so a six-monthly rotation is fair for everyone.

It's definitely not a good thing from where I'm standing. The whole tournament time thing could do with a revamp anyway and hopefully this will make something happen but I'm not holding my breath. A bit of variety would be good so each day isn't exactly the same as the next in terms of which tournament is on.

Don't see what the big issue is!? I think martin hit the nail on the head, keep it the way it is and it's fair for all.

It's not fair for all 1_eye otherwise I wouldn't have started the topic in the first place. My favourite tournaments are now past my bed time and my least favourite are now in prime time slots.

What is the harm in mixing it up a bit so the same format doesn't occur at exactly the same 3 hour period every single day? It would add something if you came to the site and saw "ooh look, the next tournament is an 8 ball speed" when you were expecting something else.

You mean it's not fair for you? Now it's changed it suits me more, as i'm sure it will others. Can't keep everyone happy!

I can see where your coming from with the changing tourny times everyday, however, i like structure, as i'm sure other members will.

This happened ages ago when the clocks went backwards. I think it's better like it is now.

I spend too much time on here anyway, maybe it's a sign that I should play here less and do something more constructive.

Especially if you came online at that time specifically to play a 9 Ball tourney!

In the past moderators/admins used to host the tournaments personaly when they were online. Sometimes having to stop a tourny simply because they had to go out/needed to do something else/fell asleep. The new (ish) tourny structure works one hell of a lot better than the old one, everyone should be grateful

(If the tourny times dont suit you, why not play ranked games...its like a never ending tourny!)

I'm just in mourning for my beloved 8 ball pro tournament - I'll only get two shots a week at it now on saturday and sunday at 1pm, which is the sort of time I'm usually doing something!

Your favourites may be the tournys others dislike so in that case it is fair on them where-as in 6 months it will be fair for you.

i like the new tourney times because it gives a chance to people who live in different parts of the world to play the tourneys that they enjoy to play at a different whcih might suite them!

yeah but ultimately it's only fair for everyone in the true sense if the type of game be it pro or normal table, speed or long games and all combinations are available at different times on different days so everyone gets the chance to play in every discipline
