My friend and I were discussing Funkypool and how it could be made better. My friend suggested that anyone who posts anything about another member or makes implications about people on pool then they should have their posting abilities taken away for a certain period of time. And frankly I strongly agree with it because if someone doesn't like someone else on pool then all they have to do is not talk to them or put them on ignore and the job is done. They don't need to post on forums trying to have a dig at each other because it is so immature and it's not worth it at the end of the day. People should ENJOY Funkypool. Not create threads which will annoy other members.

We kind of have these rules in place, basically we don't allow naming and shaming of other members. Usually the thread is capped and the member is warned.

Ok. Are you certain that the members are warned though? And may I ask how are they warned, is it through PM or another method?

Members are quite often warned in the thread itself (have a look through a few capped threads for examples, general chat is a good place to start) and can be contacted by various means as and if necessary.

Edit - may i aslo add that members can have forum posting abilities revoked or indeed be banned if the case warrants such action.
