if someone sends a complaint about u because ur better then them do the moderators check what happened or just ban u??

All complaints are investigated properly before any action is taken. So someone making false accusiations will also be punished.

The send complaint button (either on the PM window, or to the right of the pool table) is the method for sending complaints to admin.

When a complaint is sent, so is all the chat that took place in the room or window.

So, if you broke the rules, the evidence is there and admin would take action.

If you didn't break any rules, then admin can see you've done nothing wrong from the chat log, and will know immediately that the complaint was false.

If we got banned for being a better player, i would've been banned ages ago.

Just wondering if any of the guys can answer this. Martin said that when a complaint is sent all the chat that took place in the game room is sent as well. Couple of months ago I sent a complaint about somebody who repeatedly swore at me for no reason. As best I can tell from his profile nothing was done.

Are you given a couple of chances or do I just assume that I overreacted or my complaint wasn't seen as that serious?

Offensive behaviour would normally be given a warning where racism would be an immediate ban.

Exactly as magic said. Just so you know the process works like this:

If a user is spotted swearing in a chatroom, they are booted.

If the offence was serious enough, they could be instantly banned.

Otherwise, it goes on their account record. If further bootings then appear on their record, they will be banned.

The same happens with complaints. Anything you've reported will have been added to their records. You wouldn't be able to see these details, and so can't know what action has already been taken, or how close they are to a full ban.

But action is always taken, and all complaints against a user are logged.

Yeah, i sent a complaint about a player for offfensive behaviour, but nothing happened. I assume he got a warning. But after magic said that racism is a instant ban, i will only report if the swearing is very bad or racism. Don't want to waste your time on reports that aren't as bad they can get .

Remeber new rulings mean that if somebody is banned on one account they will be banned on all accounts and they will not be able to recreate.

due to the severity of this punishment (which I whole heartedly agree with) we need to be sure it wasn't a once off.
