I was losing 1-0 to comptongame in the first round of the 9 o'clock 8 ball tournament on 23 Feb 07.

Firstly, it appeared that my opponent had left, random shot after random shot. Then after a foul (from a random shot) it was not possible to place the cue ball on the table. Therefore a random shot for me. After this, the shot clock ticked down to 0 and nothing; for about 5 or 6 minutes until we were both kicked out. What's more, there were no mods online to offer their help.

Is there anything I could have done to avoid being kicked out or get the cue ball back etc.in case it happens again? Or is it a game error that shouldn't happen again.
