The language we use here is English and it costs no more to write the full words.

Thats from Nick...the person you were asking about...the site owner. He wants you NOT to use text speak. So, eh, don't.

It is because the mind does not look at every single letter, otherwise we would spend ages reading, it merely glances over, looks at a few and then makes a concious guess at what the word is.
