i was just in the 8 ball pro tournament and i was about to 7 ball my opponent and he left the room that aint fair and shouldnt be allowed maybe they can add some sort of feature in the future jason

Its been mentioned many times and applies even moreso on Snooker, with people leaving preventing big breaks.

Nick said over there that locking people in rooms until the end of a game was easy to do, so hopefully we will be seeing this fairly soon.

i just think the game should continue until you miss a shot. i'm sure it can be done as if you leave a room mid shot the shot continues until all balls have stopped moving. only then does the practise table come up. surely this could hold on and register the play until the vital shot has been missed.

do you understand what i mean guys? sometimes i cant explain things as clearly as i'd like. sorry

i understand beannie and good point the person shudnt be able to leave the game until its on their shot turn etc.

thats not wat im saying they can leave when ever they want and the other person will automaticly get the win.

difference is that the play and the table doesnt change until the opponant has finished their turn so they can try for the 7ball run out or even break (snooker)

Yeah Beannie you're exactly right, i typed game when i should have typed shot! (same thing, in this sense)

Basically it just means that if you try to leave, or even exit the browser and shut down your comp and throw it out the window.. your username is locked to tat game untill the other player is finished.

To clarify - anyone who has dropped connection will have already seen something similar. You can't login again untill the "not responding" time has run out for the game you were in. This would be the same. Anyone tryiong to be clever and closing the browser window just wont be able to login again until thier opponent has finished thier shot.

i think that they continue there shots until they miss when they miss the opponent can leave on theres or as spinner sed put a lock until the game ends

Thats what locking the game means, you cant leave until your opponents shot is over.

People can always leave on thier own shot, since this doesn't affect anyone other than themselves.
