There's been a few recent complaints about in-game PM spammers.

So - can I suggest that you click on your opponents name at the start of a game.

When their PM box comes up, simply click anywhere on the pool table.

Their PM box is relegated to your toolbar until YOU want to see it again.

It's two clicks, and takes two seconds, but it completely wipes out the chance of any idiots spamming you on key shots.

You could also ignore PM's whilst competing, or totally if you don't want to talk to anyone.

You can do that. But then you can't see their room chat either, and I'm talking more of preventative measures rather than reacting to somebody already spamming.

So the easiest way (if you still want PM's to be able to reach you from others) is as above.

Oh that gets my back right up. Proper boils my blood that does.

I always make sure i don't press enter until i know my opponent isn't lining up a shot, no matter where it is in the game. But to do it on the black is gamesmanship in mind. I usually politely ask them to not do it to me again and most are fine with it.

Did it accidentally once when I was lining up a "gg" after the shot, but I sorta hit it too early. Didn't go down too well....... But that's way off topic
