the us 8ball speedy tourny is 20secs shot limit.

Regarding you being kicked out mekongmarcus, it's probably a network fault unrelated to the server (as we have no downtime or problems logged).

DO you not think 12seconds would be perfect?! For me anyway I find 12 seconds gives you a little chance to consider your shot.

Love the addition though, means even I may get the odd tourny in!

Speed tourneys sound like a load of fun! Can't wait to take part in one. 4 mins in all three game categories? How long is the final?

Yeah because you can make a valid decision after 5 seconds ya nutter! More reasons for us to believe spinner is infact an alien!

lol thts my shots wen i use to shoot but i sukd it takes me at least abowt 13 secs to get my shots perfect (only when im playn excellenty)

Yuo dont need 5 seconds to make a decision! You've done all that by the time the balls stop rolling, so all you have to do is play the shot. That dont take 5 secs!

As i've said before, 4 second games are popular on other sites, so why not here?

Its only an option. Other people like to play 180 sec games, and thats fine too.

tbh i prefer short time limit's

1. it's alot more fun
2. you HAVE to concentrate
3. it's a challenge aswell as being annoying

i have yet to enter these speed tournys so, the UK 8 ball is going to be my first one i enter so.. who knows

One drawback to them is the golden break. If someone gets a gb then the opponent is out without playing a shot. Bit unfair isnt it?

Regarding GB's, in the past they would have been very nfair wins, but now that the UK rack is properly randomized, GB's are once again down to luck.
