Please can members refrain from using "txt spk" in this forum.

The language we use here is English and it costs no more to write the full words. Decent spelling and grammar shows that you have spent time on creating your post hence you have considered what you are saying.

This also allows us to understand your query or suggestion without having to translate it and allows people who don't use English as their first language to be able to understand the threads.

I don't think so myself, not for the run outs anyway.

It takes a lot more skill to obtain a run out in say US Pro, but i would imagine 9 Ball as being easier to achieve the same thing. If you mixed the two together wouldn't it water down the 7 ball run outs?

You might have somebody at top position with 100 run outs, yet 99 of these were on 9 Ball. In second place you have the guy with 99 run outs, 98 of them being from 8 Ball Pro. I don't think it shows a true reflection of the skill difference between the two players.

Some might argue that the tournaments have an overall table, and it might be easier winning one discipline than it is another. In my opinion if you're willing to sit there for an hour plus to get the victory i can't see how that achievement could be watered down on the overall table.

Maybe a combined US/UK overall run out board, and leave the 9 Ball as it is now. I can't see an argument against having an overall golden break table though, anyone got one?

I totally agree with this. A run-out in most disciplines requires a thoughtful approach and extremely accurate gameplay.

A run-out in 9ball requires only 2 quick shots - just smacking the 9ball down after a lucky break.

There's no way it would be fair to compare the two and rank them on the same tables.

Well i really did think it was a joke, but in case it wasn't;

An overall GB table will mean nothing as long as the "GB shot" exists on the UK table.

I use that all of the time on msn but i tend not to use it on here that much because people dont understand it, and now people dont understand me on msn now because i always talk likethis in formal english.
So i just think that you should put the effort in aswell as everybody else droflehzz.
