hi,i was wondering could it be possible to disable chatting when your playing a game because i was playing (name removed)and they was saying things like gg wp and all urs when there was 3 balls left on the table and i wouldn't mind but they was hard shots.if anyone thinks it's a good idea feel free to post.

I would find it very impersonable, I enjoy a nice chat with a game. If it means that much to you you coould use the ignore feature found in the corresponding pm window to your opponent and then turn it off when you're finished. You will look really rude though

yeah i can see where your coming from but could there be a option to disable chat for example if your on a crucial shot and they decide to spam and genuinely try and put you off.

i agree allornothing it os annoying i was on the 4 on 9 ball still had ova 5 balls to go and the opponent kept sayn gg gg gg gg gg and it distractd me i think u shuld b able to hav sumhing like public chat on or off like runescape so u just clik on and all the messages appear but if its off no messages apper so no distractions

This has been brought up before, and is the reason i personally thing chatting should be limited to PM windows during a game.

However, i appr4eciate that some people have problems due to PM windows sometimes appearing in front of the game window, however, in reality, even if this did happpen, it would only happen once.

The other alternative is to move the game window down so you cant see the chat area, that way you can't possibly be distracted!

Just do this ^^^, i do if someone is blatently being unsporting! And all is sorted!

PM window open but minimised and window moved down to hide chat = zero annoyance!


(artic_lad is in no way involved he just happened to be top of the list for a PM option!)
