I've personally not watched it, but from what i'm told it's not pleasent viewing.

Is this typical of Britain? I know it's not where i'm from!

If it was a British (Irish) person being treated like this in a reverse setting, would there be more of an up-roar?

And who should be made responsible?

Just some questions i've been asking myself!

I'm not shy to say i watch it, and anyone who does will know the only racist person in the house is Shilpa.

It is pure media manipulation, its as simple as that, and it worked.

I've watched the whole thing on BB, as opposed to the heavily edited news versions of events, and there is no bullying or racism whatsomever.

Exactly. Its very plain to see how jealous Shilpa is especially. Fact is Jade has worked just as hard as her for what she has, and most importanly has kept a sense of realism about her status.

What has been shown by BB, is the effects of someone assuming that anything someone says about them is motivated by race.

Jade and Shilpa had a typical domestic argument, however Shilpa started all the uproar by saying that it was just because of her race (a statement she has since retracted), which is, of course, total rubbish.

Thats the most important lesson, as Jade said, everyone is equal no matter what your race or class.

I agree with Magic, race is not an issue where i live either.

The most scary part of the whole situation is the way our own media have gone out of thier way to twist what has happened on BB into a racial situation affecting the UK as a whole internationally.

I've only seen the news and whatever my wife has watched and i've listened to, and it seems to me that they are very stand offish towards her, especially Jade and Teddy's bit off fluff!

Not Jade, she's the one who's been sticking up for Shilpa most.

Certainly the former miss UK is a female doggy of the highest order. All those glances etc.

I'm actually really impressed at how Jade has sussed whats happening with the news helecopters and lack of crowd etc. Then again, the dopey thing has developed into a character more than anything.

But to the subject, yes, Danielle and the steps girl have been very "doggy", but then thats what they are!
