I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned before - but Nick said in a recent update this type of thing (Blatant multi-using) was going to be dealt with strictly with IP bans..

No offense to any user in particular, just stating a fact..

Thats a bit harsh spinner. You want someone banned for life with an IP ban so they will never be able to play again for what like: playing fairly with with more than one account at a time.

If that did happen they wouldn't be many left to play. Don't see the big deal myself once your not cheating.

Also how could you distinguish between someone multi-using or two people sharing a house flat etc. on the same network. Think you should chill out a bit...

Surely simply swapping names is not the type of multi using that nick was refering to in that respect.

Im assuming that he was refering to the playing of a second name to get stats and ranks up.

all i can say is well said jay at the end of the day we are on this site to have a game of pool without having to worry about getting a ip ban for multi-using.

LOL you can't "play fairly with more than one account at a time" because that in itself, according to the rules of the site, is cheating.

(Not to mention that spamming the forums from multiple accounts is a little bit of a no-no too!)

Again, as i said, not directed at a particular player, just stating the rules.

But who are you to constantly state the rules, they have moderators and admin staff for that! Get of ya high horse!

There is, from a concerete perspective, no evidence of multi-using here.

It is possible that the 'true_legend' account was re-created by a completely separate user.

So there's no IP bans?

My friend has been banned until this month, dont know what date but i think its an IP ban. I thought his IP changed every day though, mine changes every time i log onto the net =D

my account as true_legend is not mine..is another guy who was created that.

And - yet again, another argument for getting rid of the delete button appears!
