Hey it wasn't me who started the popups in front of the window thing!

But apart from the boing as mentioned before, i would personally find a window flashing each time someone posts to be a distraction and, as was mentioned before, would kinda defeat the point of PM's in the first place..

?? please explain?

With the option to have the windows flashing everyone's happy. Theres no disagreeing with that!
It's like offering chocolate sprinkes on your ice-cream, take it or leave it, your choice, no problems!

As for your reference to the pub, I take offence to that in such a context.

The main reason for PM's is to communicate with people who are not in your game, therefore you obviously dont want them to be distracting, and you can simply wait and look at them when it suits you, as opposed to chatting in the game window which is distracting..

My role is not to know everyones personal jokes etc, it's to moderate. I like to do so in a fair way. I want to keep this thread in line and on topic. Joke about pill's in general chat.

Mearly your opinion! I don't find it distracting when on msn and playing FP! And if i did, i'd have the option not to use it! Simple!
