magicblack a dont mind the odd snooker a dont think a would have oaned with 1 bit every shot is just ridiculous & in my opinion just wastes the game
snooker when theres no shots on fair enough but like i said he could have cleared easily but went for snookers every shot
anyway its done now i'll just try to play more competitive players from now on.

rangers, I could complain about you repeatedly going for golden breaks, but I don't. Why? Because there is no rule against it (and anyway I don't really have a problem with it). The same thing is true for snookering.

By 'competitive,' do you mean people who let you win?
Because making life difficult for you with some well-placed snookers is pretty competitive in my book.
Better to just polish off the opposition with a GB, eh? Takes the competition out of 'em that way

This is the exchange of the week! But a very good point martin, i was going to say the same thing but thought i would be wasting my time as it's very obvious rangers will not listen and will call a snookerer a cheat and will still say the earth is flat!

Or even if they ain't got a pot on! If it's part of there tatics then it's tough, if it works then fair play to them, i played someone recently in us9 ball that kept going for the 3 foul win, i thought this made it a good game cause he was taking my game away from me, if he would of tried potting and positioning then i probley would of won, it didn't work for him in the end but hey!

Totally agree 1_eye. Would that person you played in 9ball happen to have 'spin' somewhere in his name.
Far from being annoyed about the snookering, I think games against him are among the very best. He's pushed snookering to a skill level of his own, and it's like a game of chess getting past him.
Pool SHOULD be varied. There should be snookerers, tactical experts, table clearers, combo-specialists, trickshotters. If every player, and every game, presented the same challenge, you'd pretty soon get fed up.
In fact...there's only one shot that spoils the game for everyone. You know...the one that prevents a game
taking place.
