Actually the rules regarding images need to be refined. A few pics advertising drinks were allowed but we will not allow them, plus I'm personally not too sure about accepting animated gifs.

tidnab, I do like your pic. The problem for me is that they animate in PM windows which can be distracting. What does everyone else think?

take 'em out of the pm windows then??
theres far worse distractions with pm windows popping up,like unwanted PM's, than a simple image, and if your pm'ing a freind then your gonna be distracted from game play anyway.

True, you can't take a shot with the pm window open can you?

I agree with tids, i think ppl who pm during games can't be concentrating that much, and if someone is gonna 'cheat' and pm you before a shot i think that is off putting enough!

It's not specifically for shot taking. Even having a conversation can be off-putting with animated gifs as your eyes are drawn to the movement, but that could be just me...

The user pictures will remain in the PM windows. However, maybe the gifs could be non-animated within the game.

I think as long as they are not offensive they should stay, its all good fun hey?
