Well, recently changed uni's, and through proxys settings, on college computers I can't access funkypool as it is a 'gaming site'.
Does this happen to many people? If so maybe a way around it can be worked out..

in college in the classrooms i cant get on to funkypool at all but in the library i can access the forum but i havent had the nerve to try playing as it would be highly mortifying if i got told off.

Can you not access the site through a proxy server?In my part of the world there is a lot of news censorship so if i want the real news i have to go through a proxy.

I can get on funkysnooker in 6th form, but not funkypool

i cant get on either, spose its a good job or i would never get any work done

For some reason funkysnooker isn't classed as a gaming site by most corporate filtering systems.

I can access FP during break times, but only because i requested it's category changed (the auto filters picked up the language in the chat rooms)

For the reason that i cant even access some sites such as WWF (animal protection) simply because it has a forum...which i need for a critical issue im doing for advanced geography, and therefore, i think it is ridiculous! and it cant be changed! gets me annoyed that does, oh well, i will live

I can access the FP website but can't actually play pool. GGGGRRRrrrr. damn techies!!

people you could always use a proxy site such as vtunnel.com etc...

btw if they've disabled javascript/java and also disabled installation of programs then sorry... but no funkypool, isnt playable on ur computers at college etc...

Well, when i was at school, things like funkypool were filtered. I heard a way of stopping this is to go onto google and type in "defilter" go on top one and type in the bar funkypool.com, and you hav to go through something and it defilters it, i havnt tried this, just heard it.
