in my opinion alot of players know me (not been bigheaded or anything lolz)

true legend has told me 2 say that:isnt it an accomplished to be unbeatable in matches n he sed i have played all that players and havent lost

The way i see it, this is online pool, being good at it is nothing to shout about, in my experience it doesn't exactly impress the ladies.

Secondly to call anyone on here a legend in terms of online pool ability in laughable. If people have spent enough time to get good, it simply says to me that they need some more hobbies/should concentrate more on there work.

I'm not saying playing it for fun and to pass time at work is wrong, its perfect to do both things!

Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King....they're people who might qualify for the term 'legend'.

I'm saying i dont think the term 'legend' should be used at all in connection with funkypool, and espiecially playing ability!

Nowt wrong with acknowledging superb players, but i just dont think the world 'legend' is the right one to use!

LOL - if you read the thread you will see that the term is not being assiciated with ability, if fact, if anything, the opposite.

We're talking about the familiarsation and "modern" interpetation, not the literal english translation...

Nope, but a few of my female friends know i play and lets just say, they take the mickey a little.

And Spinner, dont patronise me, if you look in a dictionary at the word legend it in no way means what you're attaching to it.

Your just a little too wrapped in this game if you start using the word legend to describe people that have been playing for a long time and are gobby so are well known.

Another thing, its just my personal opinion, so instead of arguing back at me, accept it.

playerx no offence or anything but nem05 and true_legend was the ones saying that "legend is back" all everyone is trying to do is state the fact that true_legend aint a legend on funkypool. myself believes that there are legends on funkypool that everyone knows them by...but true_legend or nem05 or both are trying to say your become a legend by beating true_legend...which in my opinion is a laugh...all spinner and all that was trying to prove that nem05 and true_legend aint legends(may be good players) but NOT legends
