I appreciate Nick is just tryng things out, and i can only assume this is a bit of a joke to see what the reaction is!

Of course it is only the beginning, and I presume to be improved, but the vast minority of users who don't like it should be more constructive!

Magic - if thats aimed at me, as you will see on the relevant threads i've pointed out the practical problems with the colors (over and above the plain old UGH factor!

The old Funkypool scheme was very slick and professional. Keeping the new layout (minus the avitars obviously!) but moving back to black/white and green would be great in every way.

I don't like it. And don't tell me to be more constructive, I think that the new layout is a step back, or at least the new colour scheme.

Cant say im too keen on it, it looks a bit clinical and the logo is certainly not funky, i guess its just gona take a bit of gettin used to if this is how its gona stay!

I'll go with the flow,

i can read it, i can add too it, i can lose at poolsoooooo nowt wrong as far as im concerened got some nice salmony pink for the lasses and some blue for the lads and nice pastel shades that are easy on the eye.

Nah, and any other site the colour scheme would be quite nice. Light blue's a personal favourite of mine.

I'll be honest. I can't stand the game anymore. Too many idiots, too erm....commercial. The community is too widely spread now. So all I do is post.

For me to be completely honoust, i dont think the new improvment is better than the old one, but its good to have a difference, im sure we will get used to it soon.
I agree, as this is suppose to be FUNKYpool, if you gave this to someone, they WOULD NEVER guess that this was a pool site, it doesnt look like it, The logo of Funkypool, is no where as good as the old one. Last but not least, the colour scheme is blue and white, rather than green, black and white, where'as (green, black, white) are more pool colours.
im not picking out the bad points as i LOVE the new image program, i think its a great job Nick, the image has really boosted up my thought of this site, and as me playing this game for nearly a year i think i was gettin a tiny bit bored on the old scheme, so overall its not the best of improvments BUT i could live with this

It's a free site so no right to moan.However i think constructive criticism is appreciated from the likes of myself and spinner who tend to me more honest than say mods who may find it hard to be subjective.The old scheme was far easier on the eye and for those who play thousands of games that is a better choice.

I love the new look!

I think it's got a fresh feel to it, and now I've changed my text size it's even better (Click view/text size in browser).

A lot more character than the old version in my opinion, and the pale background colours just bring to life the text and submitted photos.

I'm actually gettin used to it now, think it was just a shock to the system to start with, and now the colours have changed to grey and i've changed ma txt size, im actually quite liking it! Oh and also the old logo is back (much better)!!!

I like the new look, I like the new features, and I also like the fact that there's now more room for expansion and choice.

And I'm not going to not say that just because you think I've lost the ability to be subjective.

I like the new forum look,but i cannot see how someone can say the look of the stats and tourny tables is better.Anyway it's free and the best pool site by far so i will not moan.

Regarding it being "funky" pool all users are required to wear an afro wig in their photo. Maybe we need a pool ball with an afro wig too!
