Has anyone had this? when you are playing and suddenly the game play locks up on screen?
Whats happening is this.....I come to take a shot and suddenly the balls visually stop moving, although, the game is still continuing, as you can hear the balls contact others or drop into a pocket.
You can see the information above the table telling you whos go it is etc , but the balls stay in the same position, whilst the other player is playing on...until i take my shot, and the position of the balls is now correct from where my opponent had, had there break.
It then continues until game is over, until i can re load game window.
Its not a major problem as i can still 'line up' a shot but its just like sort of playing 'blind' in a way??

Yea mate this has happened to me loads of times, i don't know why it does it.

Luckily, it's not happened in a while, try using that "admuncher" that might work.

admuncher? i remember something about that but not sure what to do?

What you are experiencing sound to me like "real" lag. The kind that stopped me playing for about a year...

What cured it for me was upgrading to IE7, however yours sounds more like thr purely graphical problem. Do you have an ATI gfx card by any chance?

Also, though, admucher could definitely be the problem with the way it trashses your security. Get rid of it pronto!

i dont have admuncher and i cant upgrade to IE7 cos my system wont allow it as im running 2000 pro (works computer and theres no need to upgrade cos its solely used as a RIP and i added internet and other stuff to it but thats a different story)

Like i said its not really a major problem , i dont think its extreme lag though, maybe it is???

Just wondered if there was a simple explanation, perhaps it is the way my system is set up, after all its not a 'conventional' PC

and it doesnt happen all of the time, if im not opening the forums and adding to them at the same time as im playing, things seem to be fine

it doesnt happen at home neither so all in all its no big deal.....But Thanks anyway guys
