Hey spinner, i am useing AVG Free Edition 7.5, and McAfee Security Center.

The only reason I am useing McAfee Security Center, is because i didn't have no firewall when norton ranout last night.

Do you know any good virus scans,firewalls,error fixer, spywaer & adwear removers for windows Professional. Free ones.

I am useing Spybot - Search & Destroy, AVG, & McAfee Security Center.

I ran a scan last night with "reg" somthing then removed it.
It said i have 987 errors/problems.

Spinner please help.

Just to warn you, a lot of these virus scans etc. are scams, fixing computers, most of the problems I encounter are from them.
Only ones I trus are AVG, Norton, Spybot, Adaware (my favorite) or anything bought through retail.
Why you would want Mc Affee and AVG at the same time is beyond. I don´t use windows because I hate having any virus scan! they slow your computer right down, two of them?! They can conflict with each other too.

i use ad-aware se personal, brilliant software i have NO problems inse i have had it!, it gets rid of ALL spyware, and i have had no lag ect. either, so i advice you to that fellar

Iv always stuck with norton, never had a problem apart from one caused by my own un-educated mind!

I started with Norton, but it didnt work, so i now using Ad-aware, spy bot-search and destroy and of course AVG, symatic antivirus, and ever since, ive had no problmes

Well, i was asked, but was away on holiday!

I use AVG antivirus and NOTHING else. You simply do not need anything else. Microsofts monthly updates incluthe the malicious software removal tool, which deals with any spy/adware..

But remember, NO spyware or adware can be installed unless you install it (unless you use firefox, but thats another thing altogether!), so simply browse sensibly.

If you are really paranoid, use can Microsoft Defender, which is by far the best malware program out there.

(Note these tips are for windows XP/2000)

Yes i have Firfoz, AVG and ad-aware, i run all of them one after enouger, and its like a team of antivirus, it sure works

Well you could get rid of Firefox, then you wouldn't need ad-awae and things would be even more secure and fast!

Does your pc run ok rudders, i bet it takes ages to load?
