Me spinner and scaley were talking about injuries, and i thought this would be a good idea for general chat!

So let's hear all the gorey details!

cmon ppl, someones gotta have been hurt! lol! I was shot by an air rifle in the eye! It hurt!

Haha i thought it might be this kinda thread!

My worst was when i was 16, met a car on a blind bend on my bike, knew i couldn't stop, and, well, crunch! Imediately wanted to get my bike up to check it was ok, tried to get up off my knees, but my right leg was bent sideways instead of behind me. Ouch!

Split patella (kneecap), two snapped tendons and an (obviously) seperated knee meaning many pulled muscles. Found out years later that it healed wrongly and so have to have a knee replacement sometime in the future. Lovely!

Losing a bit of my toe was way more gory though!

My worst injury is a broken ankle.

Walking down a set of stairs, there was a bottle on the step where i couldn't see it, i stood on it...slipped down the stairs, tried to land on my feet but ended up breaking my ankle by landing on it,

Ouch

Broken leg, although i fractured my skull when i was really young, but i dont remember much so it doesnt really count.

Wrist break, well stupid way really. I was play fightin and ma bro jumped on my wrist and it was bent back and i said owww and he just thought i hurt it and he just started laughing.

Also i was climbing the tree to get my ball back from over the fench and the branch snapped and you no the spiky fenches the my wrist went right the way through my wrist and about 3cm away from my artery so really im on lucky guy.

I had my hair cut once.........*shudders*

When i was 8, we had a bif BBQ at my cousins, so me and my cousins were allowed to go to the park, this was like 11pm, so we played tag, and my bro was on a swing, and he was sweinging really high and i ran infront of it and ddint notice............................... head> swing....OUCH!
took half of my head of lol, a i was in tears and my cousin turned hisd phone on to c the infury and i looked on the floor where i found a chunk of my head! So we ran bak to the BBQ where we could c it, and that was the most GRUESOME thing i hav EVA saw, wtill hav a hugee mark

GLAD its over now, but MIGHT hv to hav an operation

I went over someone's shoulders going for a header at football, fell headlong to the ground, my left hand hit first and my wrist snapped so badly that my fingers bent back and touched my arm.

Stupid thing was that it didnt hurt unless it vibrated, so I played the last quarter hour wearing someone's ankle support round my wrist. It was only when I tried to put the car in gear to go home I realised it was totally bust.

When i was about 8/9 i was playing football with my mates on a field i went in for a sliding tackle and a can got stuck into my knee. My mates were like oh its a little cut kev dont worry, so i lifted up my pants and my sock was bloodstained red so i thought, somethings wrong here to put it pleasently. So i tried to lift my pants up (can was in my knee) and thought the can would fall out, but it didnt it was jammed into my bone so i had to get carried home hospital operation, 3 months later i was at school with a bandage on my knee stitches in and my mates were playing football and passed it to me, like for a joke because he knew i was still half dead. Anyway the ball comes to me and this kid came and halfed me because he forgot about it so the stitches burst and i had to have another operation which put me out for another 3 month

Ouchhhhhh again lol.

Thread title doesnt say the injury has to be yours so....

Playing football at school and halfed a guy over a fence (quite a small fence). This gave him an asthma attack and he nearly died. Suffice to say i felt quite bad.

Another time at school having a laugh with my mate on the way to the busses at the end of the day, nudged him and he missed a step and broke his leg. Felt pretty damn bad then also.

Anyone else accidentally hurt anyone?

where 2 start lol the worst injury i had woz wen i woz @ skool n builders had jus knocked down this skool buildin n they left 2 huge pile of rocks (wen i say rocks i mean big stones lol) n stupidly they didnt put eny fencin around it n me n m8s thought it wud b fun 2 start chuckin these rocks @ each other, i went down 2 pick up a rock n the nxt thing i know - bang - a rock had hit me on the head n i put my hand there n all i had woz a bloodstained hand n i got up 2 run 2 get it cleaned up n i woz left wit a bloodstained face n my white shirt woz now red lol. lost bout 4 pints of blood all 2gether.
other injuries i've had r bruisin my ankle bone twice, twistin both of my knees @ the same time, bein dropped on my nose. i cud go on all nite lol

LMAO at all of your stunts! I was once in the cadets on an annual camp in sussex and while running away from the girls billets (shall not say what i was doing!) I watched my then fat brother jump a ditch and me being skinny and athletic thought i could do this np! I jumped broke my ankle (although at the hospital they told me that id torn ligiments) and i had to walk on it and its not mended propley now!
