your playing a game when suddenly a ball goes off the table and turns it a square!!!!

happens to me many times lol, just hold on for few minutes, then u'll be disconnected. but i still can pot the square balls tho

The problem is you're both on Windows 98 using Java v1.1.4 (most likely). Java v1.1.4 on Windows 98 has issues! Basically you get logged out because it eventually runs out of memory. If you have a fast enough machine you should upgrade your Java or Operating System. Alternatively, if you only use UK pool it should be a lot more stable, as the ball image rendering for US pool can bring up this Java error.

Please note: The only system affected by this is Windows 95/98 with Java v1.1.4. Any other combination is not affected.

im using windows xp and it still happenes even with the latest java

Each time the client has problems it tries to send logged information to us about the error. We don't have any reported from your machine ihatelife.

So, this sounds like a complete crash, in which case you should have a new file on your desktop of the form: "hs_err_pid22478.log"

Have you ever seen a file like that on your desktop?

i have got about 10 like that on my desktop but they have been there for a while ????

You should be able to delete them, they are basic logs from the Java plug-in when it crashes. If it's not happened for a while I would not worry about it.... but if it happens to anyone now feel free to send to us as a technical problem (go through help).

Me and 6pack_jay was in a game and we got that funky ball thing were they ping around. Not only did they do this but they potted 2 balls, a red and yellow which meant it should of been a foul, but it didn't register! Any thoughts welcome. Yes you spinner! lol!

Regarding it not being a foul I assume it was on a break, an open table, or after a free shot hence being a legal shot?

oh and one time when it was off the table i had 2 shots and the computer took the shot for me and it made me miss

Nope. It wasn't nick. Was a ilegal pot! Me and jay laughed alot!!!! Especially cause we were playing rubbish, added something to the game!
