Personally, i'd put it down to a few new users...

If you look back through the forums you will see there are always a few people moaning about the problems as opposed to doing something about them.

There are over 55000 accounts, and less than 10 at any given time who are having problems..

I hope that makes sense

I really dont understand why so many people start new threads about this when there are so many already there!

As i have just posted in another thread - if you;re having problems, search the forum, if you dont find anything that helps your particular system, post your details or PM me and i'll be delighted to help if i can.

No worries about the thread - watch this space

Also, while talking to K3v, i've remembered that quite a few people could have upgraded to Adobe's Flash Player 9, which is much heavier on the computer than the previous version, so that could explain any "upsurge".

Rolling back to Macromedia Flash 8 could help a lot of people..

Well as you keep saying 55,000 people with accounts. Most afternoons there are around about 100 of those people online. if 10 people r having problems, thats 10%. Which is unacceptable. If peoples systems are set up wrong that is no excuse. It should work fine in firefox, ie7 or whatever. It simply should.

10% of the 55000 at most are posting here to say they have problems, how many happen to be online at the time doesn't affect the numbers! LOL!

Just think a lottle before you post dude

What you are saying is exactly like saying you should be able to put a PS2 game disk into a Sega Megadrive and it "simply should" work.

Fact : the game works fine on low spec machines.

Fact : the game works fine for the majority of players.

No programmer can be expected to write a piece of software that runs perfectly on absolutely everything and is compatible with abosolutely all hardware and software a user may have.

You really need to get off your high horse. I think you'll find the amount of peopl online is very important in regards to how many are having problems.

You are incorrect about this. Accept it.

Ok, lets try to make this simple. Hypothetically;

10 people out of the 55000 members are having problems.

say Only 10 people are online, even if all 10 are those who are having problems, they are still only 10 out of 55000.

It cant be made any more simple!

There is no high horse involved, as you know i spent over a year unable to play because of lag, so i certainly understand the feeling!

It is in regards to the status of the server and the adverts running at the time. So the only factors that count are the people online at that time......simple

The ad's dont run on the FP server dude...

I really dont get what you're trying to say.

Lag is caused by each persons own system, its nothing to do with with either the Funkypool Server or the ad server(s)...
