Was wondering if we could have an eject button for when you set up a game, so say you set up an 800 only game a newb comes in and wont leave then you can eject them? And can something be done about ppl who set up rooms and refuse to play? It's getting bad and annoys me!

I haven't got a problem with ppl not wanting to play me, it's the ones who set a room up and don't play anyone at all! Sorry i wasn't that clear m8!!!

This is the reason i have suggested that after 30 seconds a game should start automatically.

That way we wont have poeple sitting in rooms not playing.

As for the "newbie enters Over 800" issue, my survey results are well known. I kept a log of 1000 games, all called simply "OVER 800" and out of 1000 only 34 newbies entered, and only 7 were in any ways disagreeable about leaving.

Spinner,the rack button would be pointless then. It would just become pointless and just become a quick start to an inevitable slow starting game, if you get me

You have to much time spinner you really do! Im glad mr_r gets my point though. Spinner your suggestion is flawed instantly, what if you don't wanna play someone who has entered your room? And why should you have to leave!

Yea, i mean it's like...not fair.

Basically, if games started after 30 secs after entry, you are giving someone a game when you don't want to play them, why should you leave your own room???

For example: say you were in your room, playing X-box or whatever, and someone else just comes in wanting a game when you want to play someone better, then 30 secs later you have no choice but to play them!

Exactley! Any more random ideas spinner, like 5 second games!!

I actually think 5 secs is too much, 1 sec games would be well funny!

Right i think that you should have a tick box for people who you want to play when you enter your own game, therefore people are barred from entering your game and then no confusion on who should leave because they cant even get in to disrupt you. This would stop the ranting and "newbies" not leaving because they think your scared to play them.

To be honest i have never seen any of spinners' experiment in action never mind disagreeing with the results!

Maybe restrictions could be an idea, like inputting the rank you are wanting to play. for example:

Rank: 770 to 800 would be mine, anyone outside these would not be allowed access, but then we would never be playing if the rank is too specific.

NOTE: I know the idea above isn't the smartest i've came up with.

How about some crazy system, where you can only play on tables matching your rank. By this i mean, having newbie tables, intermediate tables etc and you can only enter a room matching yours. Unless invited.

This way you can climb the ranks fairly by being one of the better in your class.

Yea i like that one, theres other pool sites that have similar set-ups like the one you suggested.

Dudes... as stated many many times before, and proven by me and many others, its simply not needed! Something that happens less than 0.5% of games really isnt relevant.

The concensus everytime this is brought up is that everyone should play everyone.

I'm not saying you have to believe me, just look at the oldest post on this forum and you will see what i mean!

Facts :

you only create a game if you want to play one.

If you enter a game, you only do so because you want to play.

You both have 30 seconds, which is more than enough time, to decide if you want to play. If not, leave..

Now, some people will say "why should i leave the game i created" - well, if you didnt want to play, why on earth did you create the game!

Simple!

But you only want to play a certain type of people. I dont think anyone would want to play a person who they could gain a tiny amount of rank off/ and lose a lot
