I had the pleasure of seeing him playing in the scottish championships in Glasgow a few years back.

Only 27 years of age, would've been 28 on Saturday. Had so much to live for and it's all been taken away.

A massive loss to snooker and sport. As people have said, my thoughts go out to his family. He would surely have been a World Champion in the future, if not already, if it wasn't for his illness. And ison, he was never really cleared of cancer and he just deteriorated recently. Very sad news and I wish his family all the best.

r.i.p Paul, a great player, he was my 2nd fav, behind ronnie o'sullivan. My riley has his signature on it, i will treasure it always, my first cue signed by a great player of the game. He has always been the player i want to be like. once again, R.I.P Paul.

What a legend he was, he has got to be one of the greats of the game. Also my thought go out to his wife and kid. Shocked to here the new and was very sad like a couple of the lads have said.

Watched the premier league snooker on sky and their was a minutes silence for him. World snooker are also planning on naming a trophy or even a tournament under his name. What a tribute that would be to him.

What a great player the snooker world has lost. His bravery and courage to come back on to the snooker scene last year really is something to be admired.
