Ditto!!
Seen 3 Games today......Ireland were Superb and with a little more backline nouse (They missed D'Arcy) would have won, felt for them to be honest! They deserved to win!
Eng...Eeeeeee.....Oh Charlie Hodgson, LMAO, what was he doing there?? Not being funny, but I (not that would even contemplate wearing that "Half disguised Welsh jersey) Would have smashed Nonu into the ground for that second try!!
GUTLESS!!
Wales ~ Is there a better Winger in the World Than Shane Williams??.......NO!! That try was immense 5 WORLD CHAMPIONS left grasping at thin air........WHAT A SIGHT
ok we lost In the WORLD CHAMPIONS backyard (Just).......but god help the rest of Europe next year....and any touring Southern Hemisphere nations coming to our backyard!

Let me get this right! Wales lose by 37 - 21 and are declared 'much improved' and I even read 'heroic'. England lose to the best team in the world 37 - 20, a young, inexperienced England team full of 20 somethings but are described as 'poor', 'gutless' and are told they have a lot to learn. Now the only real thing that's true is that they do indeed have a lot to learn, however I'd say an uncapped player scoring two tries against the best team in the world is a sucess in itself.
Or am I just being picky? I didn't get to watch the games, but looking at the results I'd say England came the better off, providing of course we don't get hammered next game......
Damn critics!

England had two very very lucky tries! Ojo had an intercept (I think) and the second one was New Zealand were caught napping, they had no fullback and Ojo had to race Luacki (back rower) to the ball for a clear run in. I would like to point out that the kick to set the try up was a fluke because he slipped when kicking it .
Also you were dreadful in attack. Did not have a clue what to do when you have the ball so with 10 minutes left, they kept it up the jumper around the rucks like they were closing the game out
Now lets move on to Wales. 15 or 10 minutes left they are beating the best team in the world (South Africa) in their own back yard by 21 points to 20. 10 minutes left and the bokke score a try just after a penalty and go 9 points up. then Wales miss a relatively simple 3 points which would have changed everything. Then in the last play of the game the Bokke get a try.

Still have not finished.....
Just in case it has escaped you notice, yes Wales are 'much improved' They lost 43-17 in the first test!!!! And yes they were heroic, as they stood out as the best team in the Northen Hemisphere. The reason being they played against a full strength S.African team, at altitude, with one of the most hostile crowds I have ever seen. I think everyone should appreciate such a performance
Here is something for everyone to enjoy.

So Wales play their heart out, play well and still lose quite bad. England play quite terrible, lose just the same...... ahh you see where this is going..............
We'll leave it to the 6 Nations next year shall we!??
And yes Stella, New Zealand are the best side in the world!
EDIT: Actually I lie, seems South Africa's World Cup win, which may I add was very lucky, due to bias refs and all, has kept them top. Would just like to point out something else if you would be so kind to click the link......

No offence Sporting, but did you watch the match? Did you see the tries?
Having seen the tries I think your talking rubbish mate, both of Ojo's tries were brilliant. The interception was a case of reading the play, acting on it and running it from his own 22 to score. Second one; you mention a slip, the ball was gone and on it's way then whoever kicked it slips, nothing flukey about that. "New Zealand were caught napping " Ojo then beats TWO tackles with some lovely footwork and scores, they weren't caught napping mate, it was a good turn over try. You could argue that he got a lucky bounce, but I'm a believer in making your own luck.
Now I bet if your Lil' Shane Williams was to score either one of them tries it would be world class ect ect........ Sorry to bang on, but just wanted to prove my point!
EDIT: And just so you know I have no ill feelings about Shane, cause I think he's up there with Habana! His only problem is he ain't English, but saying that, we've got the talent, just haven't used it for some years. These coaches seem to wanna use Bath and Gloucester players, when they should all be Wasps and Tigers, maybe a lil room for the Bath and Gloucester players on the bench!
Lewsy for England!!!!

1_eye I admit I missed the first try but at half time they were saying he was lucky with an intercept, hence the (I think). Ojo Had to step in it was a 2 on 1 so to say great vision is a statement that is miles off! (Just checked youtube) lol.. beat 2 tackles???LMAO. it was a good try and he took it well, but it was Tialata who is a back row, and Siviatu didn't exactly try to 'tackle him he dived for the ball and missed! lol. I take my hat off to his speed mind, he is very quick.
Now I hope you watched that whole match, then compared that match to Wales S.Africa? then you may see my points. That Welsh match was a different class! New Zealand made more mistakes than I have ever seen them make, with flashes of brilliance getting them the tries. South Africa made a very limited amount of mistakes along with Wales. And when you have 'D' Best saying that they have proven themselves, and also saying Shane is not 'up there' with Habana, but is a country mile ahead.

Then maybe, just maybe you will not compare the teams by the score, which is uterr poop in the rugby world. especially when you look at the difference in tries, the difference in performance, the difference in attack and defense and to cap it all off, Wales had a chance, England never did!.
I wonder if you have watched Wales VS s. Africa? because saying that
'Wales play their heart out and lose just the same'
That English performance had nothing on the Welsh performance, nor the Irish performance. Seriously trying to even drop hints that England are on par is pathetic and quite simply a silly silly comment.
Wales need to improve an awful lot, but at this present moment in time they are ahead of your English side, and the other Celtic nations, even though I know it is hard for you lot to take because we had to take it for 30 odd years
I also believe, as you most probably know, in making your own luck. So fair play the the guy especially on his debut.

From what you've said you've proved my point.
I didn't watch the Wales VS South Africa match as you well know, so can only go on the results. If all that mattered was the performance then alot of teams would be happy, but alas, it's not, it's about winning!
I'm not saying Wales are poor, I think they have played some brilliant rugby, but I don't think you can watch that England game and say we're crap, we have a whole new team!

I'm not dropping hints, I'm just going on what the IRB say mate, or are they pathetic, as you so kindly put it, too?
As I said, suppose we'll have to see next 6 Nations.

Oh come on boys!
I agree with the Lewsy comment.
Haha everyone was talking about Shane's try it was an amazing try!
I reckon both test games the score flattered S.A, mainly in the last one though.
I hate saying 'if' but if only Jones had kicked his kicks!
I lost my feed with about 15 minutes left yesterday . How cruel!
Well we got S.A in November and I'm hoping our 6 nations team will be back together. So if we lose then with our full squad then there is good reason to say about the score!

Yes it is all about results, but when both teams lose by over 15 points I think people who know about rugby like to look at the performances and take positives, and there was many more positives for Wales.
My point is, comparing results by the actual result is so silly! Especially when they both lose by a big margin.
That England team is the best you have available. The Welsh team is basically a new team, a few experienced players, but a new team. So that is also a silly comment and a petty excuse. you were crap, and there is no denying it, just like Wales were crap in their first test.
And yes the IRB are pathetic. The people who can make their own opinions on world rugby would agree. As surely you can see with many people complaining about the rankings and the IRB' decisions as a whole.
Just one other point, having watched all of England's games for a long time now I can most certainly say that you have been playing like that for a while. Especially in attack

I'm not going to argue with you much more, as I don't really know much of the IRB, only of some of the rules they want to enforce on English Rugby.
Sounds like you're hinting I know nothing of Rugby?
You said that was Englands best team! You obviously know nothing mate. No where near Englands best team, in fact it's a bit and piece team mainly full of our up and coming!
A few experienced players in the Welsh team? From what I've just seen (which was the offical team sheet) your team had plenty of experience in it, but if you wanna look for excuses.......
Comparing results is exactley what should be done. This whole game is results based, I know we like to see our teams play well, but ultimatley it's about the result!
Ow, and Lofreda's yours if you want him!

Did I say that was your best team? I said best available and it most certainly was.
Did I not say we had experience? I think I did. And I said that the team was new, just like you said about England.. Check Hook and Roberts position and how long it has been since Cooper had a cap (also other various factors). You may then see my point
I know that results are the most essential part in rugby, I've never disputed otherwise. But the performance by Wales was of a much higher quality than England, and basically that is what we have been debating (not arguing in my view). But to say that because the points difference was close to the same in both games, means that the two take the same things away from those matches and they're both on par, is just ludicrous (not that you have said those words, but you seem to be saying that) Wales did not win, but they were better and surely you recognize that?

I most definitely am not saying you know nothing, I respect everyones views on everything and I'm sure many people will agree with what you are saying and many others with what I am saying.
Also I would not call this an argument, it is a typical Englishman and Welshman debating rugby. If it was an argument I would not be taking it up on the forums. and again I've been around a while now and I know that you have knowledge of rugby and I would not question it
Sadly Cuddy does not want a new coach at the moment.
Sean Holley = very bad choice, imo. He is seen as the reason we have been underachieving by many Osprey supporters

I haven't once said England played better than Wales!
We have plenty of good players at home, but are giving them a rest due to a tough season for the Guinness Premiership's top 5 all being in action up until late!
I'm not saying that both teams will be taking away the same lessons, not at all. England have just entered a new era, as Wales did last year with new coaching staff, so I expect there to be slow and steady work for England. Peronsally England have got to look at the New Zealand game and think they done half ok, a patched up team of youth playing totally different rugby than what they have for the past few years and not getting totally thrashed! I think when we're at full strength (if ever) we'll hopefully see a more improved performance.
Hopefully we'll see Lewsy in an England jersy soon. I hope to god I never see Hodgson in one again. I seem to remember him losing us a 6 Nations title due to his ability (or lack of) to both kick and tackle. Odd really cause we've loads of talent in that area, even if Cipriani is injured!
There was mention of Jack White taking the Tigers job, all here say at the moment, I thought he'd only take the England job.........

I must admit that I can't believe Lewsey has not been picked. I'm sure Martin Johnson will pick, or did he pick this team? But I think he will make a difference, a massive difference in fact. I expect Lewsey to be the only person to not be playing international rugby and make it into the Lions team next year.
The strength in depth being produced in both Wales and England is very very good and something for both nations to be excited about. I know for a fact that England will be a force when they know their team, and have everything settled. Wales you get the feeling are on the path to glory but you just expect something bad to happen
The future is bright, especially looking at both under 20's performances in the world cup.
Jake white is English in disguise I tell ya! He never shuts up about how great England is, from your sliced bread to your football team! He would be a great appointment, maybe the Ospreys can give him the pay package he desires.
