Depends entirely on the shot, imagine you were snookered, 10 seconds is never enough time to think about where you can go.

But there are plenty of threads asking for the time limit to be lowered so we can have 5 second games, so back to the subject!

Another point to be made, 5 random shot penalties in succession is a bit unlikely, it's because they always come back at four!!!

I dont think that it should be based on random shots at all, but instead based on inactivity.

Well, IIRC the thread got deleted because of the abuse i got, and therefore i barely mentioned it here, but that was my origional idea:

Once someone had been inactive for 60 seconds, regardless of how many shots they miss, they should be logged out and the win go to thier opponent..

You will still win after 5 random shots you just have to wait longer.
