I warn you, you aint seen lag till youve tried using Firefox! Not to mention all the other ways it'll screw up your comp!

Seriously, it is an incredibly insecure and unstable piece of software. I reccomend IE7, it is rock solid and simply upgrading to that eliminated the lag problems i had immediately..

Spinner, microsoft have themselves released a statement warning people about the instability of IE7. They admit it is very prone to bug and virii, apologised and said they will strive to make the next version less unstable.

Personally i have never had any problems with Firefox. Combined with ZoneAlarm its the most stable combo you can get. This is also the opinion of most major net tech websites and magazines.

hahahahaha i respect your post and agree with the ie problem, but zone alarm is a easy firewall to break, not going into much detail on here but ive cracked zone alarm.

Zone alarm is simply a piece of adware. As for "cracking" a firewall, thats impossible unless it isnt set up properly or you have local access, in which case you havent cracked it! LOL!

I wont go into things too far either, but part of my job deals with government network security, I'm not making these statements lightly.

Firefox is a poorly written piece of software, as an example i have yet to see a version which even exits properly, and it can only be installed for a few hours before the antivirus and spyware progs kick in.

IE7 is rock solid in normal use. Sure if you want to visit exploitation sites you will get stung, but its still way safer than Firefox!

Sure the "geeks" use firefox because they think its cool, and that sells magazines...

Be a professional and use Microsoft

Tricky - using firefox will more readily expose your system to virii. Get AVG Antivirus (www.grisoft.com) its the best currently out there..
