RIP Steve my condolances to your wife and kids.
An awesome character
apparantly he always insisted the film crew carried on filming if he ever got mauled or killed by a crocodile or anything else and wants to have the film of his documentary and sudden death to be aired as the programme.

this man was a true legend in his own field .
noone had the passion for animals the way he did, he even spread out of his speciality of animals ( crocodiles, snakes ) .. because he was fascinated by all sorts. He wanted to conserve and protect the animals that we have today, no one had a greater heart than him.
not only did ha have passion but personality.
steve irwin had the biggest personality in any type of entertainment. and that is something that he will be remembered forever for.
he will be greatly missed by all his admiring fans all around the world, but mostly by his family and friends.
ide jus like to add he was know as " the crocodile hunter " yet he did not hunt them , he sustained/captured and released agen
