i had a weird situation playing someone before......the player was not responding then started, after potting next ball (they had 3 then black to win) they said 'gg' BUT i noticed the window below the pool table had said this player had won before i saw the balls and black potted, and they did win, so i guess what im saying is......if the connection between you and the other player is quite a bit different then its posssible , just possible that on there screen they have won, but its not shown on yours as yet

But if its your shot then they cant see before you as it was you taking the shot.

Temporal anamoly.

For instance, nearer the poles, the earth is spinning faster than at it's centre. Therefore, when someone far up-north, say in Shetland, takes a shot, they play the shot 0.44 seconds before they actually see themself shoot. To someone on the equator - the Shetlander's shot will be seen a massive 10 seconds before the Shetlander has even thought about making the shot. This explains why every one of Spinner's shots has the general appearnce of a "Random Shot Time Penalty."

Whilst there is some truth in that Martin, there is a serious point to be made.

When i had the bad lagging issues, it was extremely common for an opponent to play several shots and win games, without anything happening on my table.

Lagging never affects the chat part, hich is why i always said it was nothing to do with connections etc...

Yes bunrzybhoy - it is perfectly acceptable to use an old thread if you have something worthwhile to add, however clearly you had not read the contents of this one before posting.

You have made many good contributions to the forums. Keep those up, but knock these off.

Personally, i often talk to my opponent, saying gg is a way of saying "jeez they are good, this game is done already"

It's like the penalty kick in footy, a good striker 9 times out of 10 scores when the pressure is on.
