What am i going to do about the other person who was hurling abuse at me?

It is kinda stupid in some ways but the admins don't want to be reading spam!

Suppose if it happened at the same time, then i think they will spot it anyway. I think there should be a drop down menu to select how many people you are complaining about

Annoying but necessary. As with every system, there's those like yourself who'd use it properly if unlimited complaints could be sent, and then there's some, as nutta said, who'd be constantly spamming and holding up the whole procedure.

There's also this rubbish minority on here that hurl abuse, act unsportingly and generally annoy.

Slowly they get weeded out, but in the meantime I really think you're best key is the ignore button. It used to make me extremely happy to know that some moron was wasting loads of time and effort ranting to himself while I didn't see a thing.

Its not as if the complaints are followed up anyway....

All complaints are followed up and taken very seriously.

For example, the name and shame thread you created on the game queries forum. Members don't like to read this rubbish and they complain about it, hence why it’s now been capped.

'ahahahaha', do you have anything constructive to say, or is it name and shame threads and general complaining about the way things run around here? At least get your facts in future, because you are clearly incorrect in this case.

Just a quick post to say that every single complaint i have had to make, very few i'm glad to say, has always been followed up and dealt with very swiftly and effectively.

The team do a great job so please help them by using the site properly and not messing up the forums with slanderous threads.

Remember the Admin team have access to the chat logs and can make a fair judgement, other members cannot..

Many people are abused by a group of people etc, so what i propose now is a little icon with how many members have been abusing you in that eprsios of time as in my case it was about 3 in a tournament match. I am assuming admin/mod's would be able to pick this up but it would be more helpful and re-assuring for us to know.

When you send a complaint about a person, Admin will look at the chat log for that room at that time, and would pick up the others as well.

At least, thats how my old chatroom used to work, but maybe someone from the team could confirm this?

Pool life, not a very professional thing to try and demean someone on this forum. Perhaps the reason for your outburst was my amazement when I asked you to help me with a problem yesterday, and you replied, and i quote ''dont whinge at me...'' I realised i shouldnt have started that other thread thats why i asked for it to be deleted. Why try and start an arguement????

You said complaints are not dealt with when they clearly are!

That's four posts on this account now, and all negative. Maybe we should have revoked your posting abilities when you created the name and shame thread?

Oh well, you can use your other account to post with now, and hopefully you won't continue to use the forum as a place to put down other people, or i will revoke your posting abilities on that account also. If you have problems use 'send complaint' or 'contact us', but you are well aware of this by now.

You dont deserve to be an admin, abusing your power like that. If you feel like you have to revoke my posting abilities, then do it.

give it a rest plz - you cant really tell some1 they dont deserve to be an admin and for abusing powers when u abused ur posting abilities to slag off other people can u.....and in my view all the mods and admins do a great job running the site so u shud be thankful

Yes i abused my posting abilities, but within 2 hours i realised i had done wrong, cleared all i had posted and apologised. I also agree the admins and mods do a great job. I stand by my statement of the abuse of power.

fair enough but its best not to say things in the first place and to keep things to yourself.....respect for realising your mistakes though

What can i say i am very disappointed that this has happened, i really wanted this thread to help me. But as usual somone has spoiled it and this is becoming a recurrent fixture in funkypool these days. Thanks very much ahahahaha,
