i think that the game should be like us 8 ball for uk 8 ball but with uk balls...like smaller balls and more detailed pockets and stuff to make it harder....especially the middle pockets lol

Exactly, where do you know a pool table where you can pot into the middle pocket by rolling the ball down the side cushion?

This has been mentioned a lot, and i feel this would make an excellent addition to this game, as i agree the middle pockets are ridicilous!

thats like why there are millions of golden breaks on uk pool and because people have got like 200 golden breaks lol....and also to add to the realism the uk balls could be smaller than the uk balls like they are in real life and change the cue lol or add some funky designs around the tables to make it look cool lol

The reason UK8 is so popular is BECAUSE it's like it is. It's not meant to be absolute realism. If you want that, play US8.

Why are some ppl so against fast and exciting games? First there are calls to name the pockets on 9ball, which would make it defensive and boring, and now (again) the idea of making funkypool non-funky. True it's easy to pot in UK 8, but it still isn't easy to become one of the best at it. Which means it's attractive to new players and masters alike.

yeah change the table.....because then it adds more difficulty to it and it will show how good people really are at uk pool

this argument could go on for a VERY long time...the bottom line is that they wont change the table unless absolutely neccesary.

i do find the middle pockets a nightmare at times. and sometimes they are my saviour lol.

When there are 500 people with over 1000 7 ballings i'll agree it's too easy.

Also to show how good someone is on here it is not about simply potting the balls, it's about positional play and power, with the pockets slightly larger it means these aspects of the game can be focused on.

It doesn't make the game any easier as it is the same for both players, it means you have to be better defensively and still be good offensively.

If it was changed games wouldn't be so fluent, newbies wouldn't stand a chance, more people will get annoyed and therefore abusive and also the current ratings of players would all be inaccurate.
