It seems there is a new trend developing when you enter a game. Some people just sit there and dont press the game start button. I think they do this when they see your rank and dont want to play you. However rather than just sit there and say nothing can people please start saying, i dont want to play you? It saves wasting my time and after all thats why you have fingers....to type. Its becoming very annoying.

well thats not the sole reason you have fingers but you know what i mean.

ah yes but i am saying to people are you playing or what? and they dont respond, then i have left, waited till someone else goes in the room and watched the game. The person who didnt play me is then playing someone else of lower rank. So that rules out them not being at their comp too. It just common courtesy which seems to be lacking at times on here.

ye i usually pm people to see if there playin because they might b on the forums. but phillippe is on about wen people wont play u because ur rank is to high but they wont say anything or leave but as soon as u leave if someone with a low rank comes in they suddenly start playin

also i think it depends on how u ask. i get very annoyed if i enter a game and someone tells me to f off or if i'm in a room and i get abuse for forgeting to press the button. it makes me less inclined to play them. i'm sure if you asked the person nicely then they will probably give you a game???

Why not just make it so that after, say, 30 seconds, the game automatically starts like in tournaments.

The person who entered the game obviously wants to play (or they wouldnt enter), and if someone didnt want to play, they would have to say so or leave or risk loosing rank.

Spinner I'm amazed. A very good idea, although if there were connection problems for the user it could not work in some cases.

then again spinner, if someones created a game (as you do) sometimes I intend to wander around t he internet waiting for someone to join.

you cant expect to start a game without one of the players even knowing, which is why the 'start game' button was brought in.

i think there shud b a noise like wen the tourny is up to join u shud get a noise not the same obviously but then u no someone joined ur game then the 30 seconds or wateva starts

Just a wee question mcquiston - how do you know a user has joined your game as it is?

If you had a countdown you would know, so you could surf to your hearts content!
