nick is there anything being done yet about a boot button as this game is getting worse everyday with ppl way under the rank u ask joining the game & refusing 2 leave.

when u ask the moderators 2 boot them they just give u allsorts of story's is it not part of the moderators duties 2 keep the site running smoothly?? BRING ON THE BOOT BUTTON.

As discussed on a different thread, there is not no need for one as it turns out. Most users will respect the order of the game name, and people who under a certain rank then they normally leave. However yes there is a small majority who won't leave and yes, arguements brew. As your point to why mods can't boot them... Well its simple, we can't just boot a player that has joined a game. Its not a speicific offence nor is it a breech in the rules.

It also seems to be only a select few players that are having this problem. Mayby the problem is in the way you ask people to leave the game?

well i just gone into an over800 game to watch. 2 people joined n they were both under 800 and it already ended out in an argument

I believe Mattus may be right. I dont want to sound patronising, but there really is something fishy that the same people have this happen, yet in 10 days i only encountered one bad egg (who didnt hang around anyway..)

Instantly saying f-off would make *me* wanna stay! LOL!

just ask politely thats what i do, or say something like "sorry m8, im just about to invite someone".

or do it the long way, ask in the members bar if there is anyone with about the same rank. then ask if they want a game, then make a private one and invite them.

thats a lot more simple in my view.

I'm simply stating facts. Have a look at the thread i linked to, i've been doing this for two weeks now (10 weekdays) and my findings are there.

rangers - u could always join other ppl's games u know.

Without any disrespect, you seem to be a lot choosier than most about who you play, so maybe you should find the games you want rather than creating and then getting yourself in loads of arguments cos the wrong ppl join.

The boot button isn't going to happen. Just accept that fellas.

i don't mean to be rude guys, but what happens if you just give the lower players what they want and actually play them? maybe they are trying to get better, which is hard to do when all high ranked players refuse to play us! i'm not backing up the ones who are quite mean and start a row, but a few minutes out of your day isn't going to hurt...just give them a few games and ignore the lip..they'll leave soon enough when they are embarassed at how bad they are playing...

At least you get people wanting to play you, about quarter of the games i enter they see my rank and refuse to play me!

I should add that despite my current experiment (which seems to prove you can easily get people of the rank you ask for), I personally believe that everyone should play everyone, and agree totally with brighteyes.
