Well apparently a name i have detailing the name of a condition i have, is an offensive name. So i think instead of misleading people and having them banned and what ever goes after that. You should up date the name creation rules, would be a better enviroment for us all then. I fail to see how the name could possibly be thought of as offensive, i mean i walked into the hospital waiting room last week and there was a poster about it.. and there where children under 16 in there, anyways im not asking to be unbanned on that name, just a review of the rules would be nice so this doesn't happen again.

Sorry chip_fork but in this case the name you used was unacceptable. If your 12 year child said i am playing pool against what your username was i wouldnt be surprised if they got banned from using this site!!! This is supposed to be a child friendly environment so please bear that in mind when creating a username. Thanks.

If i had a 12 year old kid... i wouldn't let them onto this site full stop.

I think the words in the help guide are 'potentially offensive' which I am absolutely sure your name was, anyway please use the contact-us.

ye it was very offensive i wouldnt want my kids coming on if there was a name like that.

Erm, we all know what goes on in the chat room and with guests, frankly i wouldn't wan't a 12 year old, who would be suseptable to things, open to people "asl", "where u from" "any sexy girls wan't a chat" and all the swaring/racism that goes on, when mods are around and are not around. Could name a few others, but i am in a tourny game.

Thanks chip_fork, you just confirmed why your username isnt appropriate. This is why we need moderators on this site and why your particular username was not acceptable. We as mods try to keep the rooms clean when we are online, so a 12 year old would not be subjected to this type of language.

The difference is that my name was is a desease/condition with a public awareness campaign about it. Where people of all ages are subjected to, so i havent "confirmed anything".

Back to the point tho chip_fork, if you REALLY do suffer from that condition, that doesn't mean you have an obligation to advertise the fact in a username.

It's obviously quite a personal complaint you've got there, and so I don't think most other users want it thrust in their face.

I said IF i suffered from it, i would like the guests that hound people for personal details to know, but o well, as i said i dont care about being banned, just consider putting a few extra things into the page.

This is silly. The fact is there are many words with double meanings out there, so yes, you are right that in your context, it is not offensive, however the site has to care for all interpetations.

My fiance and i enjoy intimate relations, and we have a child together, does that mean it would be appropriate for me to be called "<obvious description>"?

Please have some common sense.
