This isn't me making a complaint or asking for changes to be made, but does anyone else consider the shape of the middle pockets to be unrealistic?

I find it reduces the skill needed to clear the table, and on a number of occasions I have experienced people just hammering the balls around the table, hoping to pot by fluke rather than skill.

Over to you people!

off course they are not realistic but its just an arcade type game so its cool i kinda like em, it does cause a few flukes but also can cause a greater variety of shots to try

The middle pockets make for a fun game. It IS easier to pot, ye, which I think gives the game instant appeal to new players.

Big pockets or not, it's the same for both players and the most skilfull players still generally win.

For ppl who prefer a more realistic version, there's always the US games.

Edited: to correct my mistakes. I can never get out of the habit. I think it's a form of OCD

Dont forget that the pockets also offer a whole new way of snookering people as well

(I like that bit the best...)
