Who famously took a penalty kick that Joe Corrigan caught with both hands, and ended up going THROUGH the back of his own net with the ball?

This isn't a joke. It did happen!!

Actually I should have put 'Sports Trivia Questions.'

This is a weird one. And the answer isn't 3 points.

In rugby - what was the original points value of a try.

When it first began - ste4eva is right - it was 0 points

Edit cos shuda mentioned WHY...

Going over 4 a try meant that you got at 'try' at kicking 4 goal. So you got nothing for touching down, only 4 the conversion kick

There are some purist rugby leagues who still play what i have always known as the "tradional" rules, where a try was exactly that, a try..

As for when the changes to 3 and then 5 points happened in the international rules, I'd like to see the answer to that!

Answer to this: Who famously took a penalty kick that Joe Corrigan caught with both hands, and ended up going THROUGH the back of his own net with the ball? It was the Honey Monster - in a Sugar Puffs advert. Kevin Keegan was his manager.

Ty - were Chelsea the last team to get a trophy at wembley? The community shield must've been the last (I think) cos it closed in autumn.
