how about when u create a game sayin "800 rank or above only" the game only allows ppl with 800 rank or above to enter..... gettin rid of those annoyin newbies who continuosly enter ur room refusin to leave!

Yes that can be annoying, I feel the person of the game should have the power to boot people out of their game if that person is not wanted! this obviously shouldn't apply half way through a game!

Preventing people from entering would be more "polite" than booting.

I do feel however that if this is implimented it should also apply to peoples win percentage, so that people can choose to play others of similar skill as well..

hmmm tbh i really don't care about ppl's % when i play them, i only regard the rank lol but i mean if other ppl want % aswell, fair enough, personally i think it'll be sound with jus the rank

Everyone out of primary school know what a percentage is, but the funkpool ranking formula? Hmmmm...



I only suggested it so players get the option to play someone of similar overall skill, since win percentage applys to all games, not just selective ones like the rank system does.

A percentage (a number between 1 and 100 - its impossible to have a complicated percentage!) is much easier to understand than the complicated relevant formulae required to compute your rank!

But more importantly, and the reason i suggested it, is that you win percentage reflects your overall skill level, and therefore whether an opponent is of equal opposition so as to have a challenging evenly matched game.

There is no argument here dude, just a sensible discussion.

Percentages exist to simplify things, thats exactly what they are. A way of simplifying any figures to an easily understandable system unversally understood all round the world.

I'm only right cause its a fact. Not my fault!

this topic has been mentioned a few times but nobody knows if anything is being done about it.

the rank thing as tread says is a good idea espesially now with both players having 2 press rack balls button u do always get lower rank joining & if asked 2 leave they get cheeky.

i think the admins should look into this as the new system without this is just wasting a lot of games because if ppl join ur game & u dont play them u create another game & they just follow you

Easy explanation of ranking syste:

if you lose agaisnt a high ranked player, u lose a little rank.

if you win agaisnt a high ranked player u get alot of points e.g. 3, 4 maybe 5 points

if you lose against a low ranked player.... this depends on ur rank, if u have high rank- lot of points goes, if u have low rank not many will go.

if you win against a low ranked player..... this also depends on your rank.... if u have high rank - not many points, if u have low rank, a happy amount goes to u eg 2/3

and so on and so forth.....

Fact is, as you will see looking back, more people get frustrated about the "over 800 only" games than want them.

Most people, it seems, think that everyone should just play, regardless of rank.

That was why i suggested using win percentage, so that people could ask to play someone of similar skill, regardless of thier rank, and enjoy a good game.

I wont even mention that rank explaination, other than its slightly different to the way Nick explains it, and her wrote it after all

im fairly sure it was cos if you play a lower scored player you run the risk of losing more points, and thats a good thing, so if you are able to not allow people who arent as good as you to play you, then your score is less likely to reflect your potential ability

ur ok sayin play any1 spinner take a look @ ur rank, when ur only 730 u do play any1 if u get 2 pro you will realise, you would be creating 800s plus games aswell as u will find out with the ranking system
