dont you find it so annoying when you enter the game, ready to play someone, but they arent playing?

its just full of random shot penalties. and sometimes the shot penalties arent so random, like potting a ball.

instead of random shot penalties, why not have *surrender shot* or something. so that they cant hit anything. if they dont play, they shouldnt.

After 5 random shots they will be automatically logged out due to being idle, so just be patient.

Personally I've not seen too many idle users in games though.

Whilst they are rare, it has happened to me on occasion, and i dont get to play as regularly as most.

This is another reason for reducing the shot times availiable. 180 seconds???

Even 40 seconds is totally over the top, why not limit it to 20, or 30 at the most. This means people wont have to sit waiting for too long.

(and Nick, be a nice chap and reduce the minimum to 5 secs so we can have quickfire games too please?)

I dont think anyone is saying anything's wrong as such, but lets face it. Who needs more than 30 seconds to play a shot?

And adding a quick option would simply make the game more fun!

It should be as simple as setting a couple of variables, and sure everything is fine, but why not make it even better!

I think 10 secs is fine as a minimum. That's pretty quick anyway.

If someone chooses 180 secs and somebody else decides it's for them, can't see the problem with that either. May be 2 ppl working, flicking screens.

Good point about the 180 secs, i hadnt thought about playing the game like that!


However, 10 secs is too long for a quick game and easily gets boring if you aint chatting or surfing.

5 secs, and 3 secs for that matter, works well on other sites, so why not this one! Not like it can cause any problems, and lets us have quick games if we want.

I once asked a player what they did for 25 seconds - they said "line up the shot"!!!!

What do they do? print out a screenshot and use a ruler an protractor??!?!?!?!?

i think that the 10 sec miminum is fine but 180 secs is way 2 long about 50 max wud b fine.

I did think that before (whats the difference between 50 and 180 by the way?!?) but it was a good point that people who are busy might wanna play a slow game..

Which begs the question, why does no-one wanna play a quick game!?!

I would just like to be able to play at a decent pace and 10 secs is ok if ur chatting a lot, but if you get a player who doesnt talk its seriously boring..

Actually the maximum time has been reduced to 90 seconds for the next release.

Although it's down to user choice to select and to check the time limit before entering the room 3 minutes is too long when opponent is idling.

Nick - please say the minimum is being reduced too?
