gotta give credit to squeezy..... he's been in the top five consistantly for as long as i can remember, breksis deserves a mention.... and steven_up is/was absolutely unbeatable when in top form so my top three are

Martin, whenver a debate comes up on top players they include themselves in some way...albeit trying to make it sound less arrogant than it is...also whenever i beat them, there always playing bad

I include myself in some way to show that i'm basing my arguement or point of view on something that I have done not on mere speculation, + you've won many frames against me while i've bin playin well before, the marathon tourny final that ended 5-4 between us for example.

I also don't feel that I am really that arrogant, I don't boast about things I could do but simply state milestones that I have reached in the game.

+ as pointed out by danny i'm 17 not 'a kid' so ner ner ner ner nerrrrr *pokes out tongue*

In my opinion, players who admire themselves more than others are clearly taking the game a little too seriously, therefore putting way too much effort making themselves stand out rather than playing the game for the fun of it.

I don't have a 'top 10' or 'my top players' as i think that everyone on this or the snooker site has the potential to become top dog. So why praise people for their effort and skill when they are clearly doing a good enough job praising themselves?

Remember that tourn wins, rankings and most wins are never reliable. For example, some people may be amazing players but never play rank (hence not being top of the board), So are they not good enough? One player wins 5 small tourns, and another wins 2 marathons. Whos the better player? Think about it.

i do agree with your comments slightly farren but that isnt neccecerily the case it could just be that they have a good comp and internet connection have fun but are also quite good and with your tournament comment i disaggree the marathon tournaments could have weaker players in with only one good player (the one which wins) whilst the smaller tournament coontains the better players meaning that i would find it much more of an acheivement winning five small tournaments

Has anybody mentioned Marcos?

This guy is ranked number one at the moment, and it looks like he's giving it the big push! The stats are extremely good in all of the 3 disciplines, but his win percentage on UK is a staggering 81%.

Me too, He beat me 4-1 ... but i 7 balled him ... so in theory i'm the best lol well done marcos the best at the moment..

yes of course, he is the best at the moment, but hey it wont last. I got to 915 and then slumped. His 81% is also over a small amount of games. Plus he has already played this game b4 when he started that profile. My profile amnd many others contain the losses you racked up during the learning period of being a proper newbie. When i started on this profile i didnt have a clue and must have lost 600 games before i got the hang of it. I have started many profiles once i have learnt things and had upto 90% ratio so its no great deal. When he has played 5000 games or so then see his win %.

But still 922 is a very good rank, well done.

i think that marcos is one good player as i play him on many occassions! the reason i play him alot is because i can learn from watching him fair enough he beats me say 11-4 when we play but im impressed that i beat him the 4 times and also someone who is worth a mention maybe not in the top 10 but in my opinion a quality player good enough to be in top 5 when playing well and that is s8an aka _jedi_ i find it difficult to compete agianst him as when we play he destoys me but i don't take it seriously i just congraulate him but i'm suprised that he hasn't had a mention yet, this is my top 5 over the period of time iv'e been on this site

scottishdude he didn't say he was unbeatable, he said he could beat anyone, as can a lot of good players on their day (and me on some rare occasions). Although I do think that he could have been more modest.
