hey, just a daft idea i had if you could just flip a coin to determine who breaks first in tournament matches, instead of the last person entering the room breaking.

It's not last person who enters the room who breaks, it's the person whos name is on the left.
e.g guess_who vs mcquiston, i would break

Hmm... Interesting stuff guys... but the tournament draw randomly sorts out who breaks so it's still 50/50. I dunno, that's my tuppence worth.

This could be an EXCELLENT idea providing it is combined with the scrapping of the 3ball rule. Game starts from Coin Toss/Cushion Shot...

The draw picks players at random. The first out the "hat" is the player who breaks first.
It's a bit like the FA Cup draw, there'd be no added benefit by choosing the matches then choosing which team was home.

nother thing all together m8, flick through the threads and you'll find it. its the way once 3 balls hve been potted you lose points for leaving the game.

thats why we have it. some people thing that once you enter the game you should lose points for leaving, and some thing it should be once you break...theres lots of different opinions. anyway check out the other threads on it, theres plenty of them.
