Would it be possible for users to be able to see the times that they have logged in and out? For example the last 10 log ins for their user name.

This would mean that each user can view if their account has been accessed from another computer and they can inform an admin or moderator quickly and/or change their password.

does hacking of accounts really occur? i know ppl talk about being able to do it but i have never experienced it first hand. It would annoy me if it happened but has anyone had this happen to them? have you squeezy?

If you were to be hacked that would mean theve hacked your password . This wouold then mean that if you changed your password then you would be able to get hacked again . Sadly there really is nothing they can do mods or admins because a hacker can discuise there ip or remove there ip from view . Therefore mods or admins wont be able to do anything.

Firstly, with regards to the word hacking. This is the definition from wikipedia:

A hacker is a person who creates and modifies computer software and computer hardware, including computer programming, administration, and security-related items.

I think there is a big difference between a 'hacker' in its official meaning and what users have done in the past on funkypool.

In essence they have guessed your password. Or they have guessed your password to your e-mail account and found your funkypool registration e-mail.

A secure password and secure security protection for your e-mail address means that no-one will get access to your account.

Anyway back to the idea, I like it. It is a good security measure to have, but I hope it would not take up too much space in the database. Otherwise I cannot see a disadvantage to it, good idea squeezy.

It is a good idea, yet i asked has anyone been hacked? or whatever you wanna call it. Nobody has come forward to say yes yet. I think a lot of ppl just let others log on their name and then complain when the person they borrowed the account to uses it again. In my opinion anyone who is sad enough to hack a funkypool user account needs shooting in the head. As the majority of users are teens i would guess they dont know how to hack. If they do i suggest they open their curtains in their dark room and see the world out there. As i said before though no-one has experienced it but it would still be a good idea to implement this as information is power hehe. The more the mods/admin have then it can only be good.
