who thinks that the uk 8 ball table should be changed to something similar to the arcade snooker table over on the other site. makes it a lot harder i think

im fed up of being able to pot a ball on the side rail into the middle pocket.

no no no and no. i really like the uk table. If it gets too easy i hit myself back to reality and have a go at us 8 and 9 ball for a bit.

mite be an idea to have an option....if u go to snooker site and look at arcade snooker table thats more like a pool simulation table rather than an arcade type

eh? i didnt start the thread - thats just my oppinion. If it changes then so be it but in my oppinion the uk 8 ball table is fine how it is.

i dont mind another option but thats upto Nick after all he has done a lot for this site introducing US 9/8 ball and a smaller snooker table too

nah, im saying as well that some of the shots you hit arent even funny, its really frustrating as well(if you lose)

i understand ur point m8 they are a target for flukey shots but in the same breath im glad for that

at first, i never really liked the look of us version of 8 ball, but then you realise that you are actually doing well in it rather than ppl fluking.

i know us 8 ball has its flukes, but not as often as the uk one

same goes for 9-ball, which is also great

yeah me too. in an ideal world mcq u are totally right but i think it should bekept the same not only coz we like it easy but a lot of things have changed and have been added to funkypool and i think it would be nice to keep the 8ball as it it and was originally.

its a good and genuine point mcq and iam very open minded about it, im happy to go with the flow

as am i, remember when us 8 ball opened?
not a lot of people were good at it right away, im sure IF it did happen, people would get better and back to their old selves

i think the leaderboard would change dramatically too.

This subject as come up b4, and somebody answered that if you made funkypool (uk) too real it wouldn't be funky anymore. I agree with that view. It's a fun game and the best in my opinion.

those middle pockets stick out like a sore thumb

i know people worked hard to get this game running, and i like it apart from thos middle pockets..thats all that bothers me

ill be sticking to us 8-9 ball more often i think

this is a good discussion (without the idiots makin silly comments) I agree with you mcq about middle pockets as it has been discussed elswhere too maybe a UK 8 ball simulation table (it wud be be like the us 8 bAll set up) as well???
bearing in mind the version we have now is immensley popular so although we have our own little opinions (which is good) perhaps having a simulation wud be a good experiment to try out and see how that goes but if people prefer the one we have now, then we agree its the one we all like.....if that makes sense?
