Hey all..

The site is running beautifully now, but how about the option to play quickfire games?

We all love a long tactical battle i'm sure, but a lightning game would be great (played em on *ahem* other sites, and it rocks!)

Not hard to impliment, just cut the minimum time down to 5 or 3 secs instead of 10..

I look forward to it!

would be a good option i suppose, cant say i would use it i dont think though, i like 10 secs but any less would reduce the skill involved in my opinion and 3 secs would be like a wild hit and hope contest lol. sounds ok.

How does it REDUCE the skill factor?!?!?

It takes much more skill to play a quick shot than a slow one!

Hell, in 40 sec you can line up a shot using a ruler on the monitor - zero skill and great result every time!

its not a great idea but it is good :::

if it wer to be 5 seconds you'd have to do the following ::

look for a shot ( 3 secs )
put spin ( 2 secs )
take aim and take the shot ( 5 secs )

Huh?? thats ridiculas

look for a shot ( 1 sec max, at any time in pool, this isnt billiards! )
put spin ( <1 sec (its a simple mouse click) )
take aim and take the shot ( 1 sec unless you pull the cue back REALLY slowly!)

That leaves 2 secs spare... to look at a pretty cue or something!

Seriously, there is plenty of time to chat in 10sec games, so this would keep things moving without becoming sleep inducing...
