at the end of the day if the admin team think one person should have one user name then why not enforce it, obviously they dont so cest la vie......if your good enough to win then you dont have to worry about losing rank points to cheats.

Thats my point, You play every game different, shot selection being a major part, why should you have to worry that the player you are playing is in the top 10, when he appears to be a newbie, just there to take points.

I know the players on here so if I play a top player my shot selection is different from when i play other players.

so what your basically saying is you play harder and concentrate more when playing pro's? have you never heard that saying never underestimate an opponent? perhaps if you showed more respect to every opponent as you do pro's you wouldnt lose to newbies as often even if they are "in disguise"

newbies deserve respect too!

I respect every player the same, If they are a mod or a newbie,

I play players different though, And if thats a crime then IM GUILTY..........

This is getting stupid.

Its not about whether you win or loose, its about fairness to all players, newbie or pro.

The issue here is that a great quantity of players who would appear to be good, are actually just using multiple accounts so that they are always high in the rankings. This is extremely unfair to the genuine pro's who only have one account and play allcomers..

Oh, and if you read back you will see more than one user say they have mutiple accounts so that they can play "without having to worry about loosing rank" - so i'm not making this up!

Anyone who is proved, or admits, to having multiple accounts should have them deleted. Simple.

Also, why not change things slightly so you only see each others rank AFTER the frame?

This would be much fairer and make the site much more fun.

Simply put, the only people who can possibly argue against this are those who use it to cheat already!

Yes it does. Read the thread about multi-using...

And an example - a user has two names(playerA and playerB).

Logs in with both, playerA plays ranked games against PlayerB for days, gets a huge rank, then never uses that account to play agains actual users in ranked games, but stays at the top of the tables..

you cant play against yourself on the same computer! unless you have a wireless network connection! and the multi using thread says basically it isnt breaking the rules, it IS accepted but if the player with two accounts starts abusing/breaking rules with one of their accounts they stand a chance of getting ANY of their accounts deleted. it DOESNT say you cant have multiple accounts it just says you should have one but we accept you may have others so be careful! i really dont see the problem, if you get beat by a newbie who is a pro in disguise then you will lose 4 rank points at the most in one game, then leave.

But why should the pro play as a newbie? what does he gain,

Il tell you, he takes 4 points off you, whilst not putting his rankings up for grabs.

surely he could have gained those points on his profile with the good rank though so he is losing them too! rank points are easy come easy go, no serious issue if you lose them

Too true, A valid point, however why cant he face you in his higher ranked name?

There are some top rankers who iv never ever played on here, why is this, because one isnt one the site enough, I think not.

It seems players get to a rank, then use another account to destroy any others who bacome a threat to their position........
