Derp, as a former moderator i would have thought you would understand that decisions on here are not taken lightly, or without good reason.

Simon explained to you in a previous thread not to post on behalf of somebody who is banned, and you seemed to understand that:

When an action is taken, users sometimes try to rally other users to their defence, and to post on behalf of them.

This is not a conspiracy Derp, so please, no more posts regarding this issue.

I was just being a good friend, and doing something he wanted me to do, delete this thread, like I care. I am just doing something for Shaun. I'm not trying to get him unbanned, he is himself, I do not want to get involved with this topic.

Then why make the thread in the first place?

If the user you mention has any queries, he can use 'contact us'.

Because no one else would. This may be me 'technically' involved, but I don't want you talking to me about the subject, I want you to talk to ice_cool about it, because it isn't me making a point, it is him. He cannot exactly post himself

Like earlier on when Simon told me off I said unban ice_cool, this thread is not me saying unban him, it is him saying it, so do not dsicuss it with me.

Derp also as a former moderator on this site, i thought u would understand that using the forum for this purpose is unacceptable and no action will be taken if the forum is used. The following are quotes from the help centre.

Then you are posting on behalf of a banned user, despite a previous warning earlier, which you seemed to accept.

I would expect this thread to be deleted when admin see it, and don't be surprised if you lose your posting abilities.

That would be a shame to lose my posting abilities because I am never normally like this. But 2 of the same thing has happened today, so I would not really be suprised.

This was the user in questions last message on the forum. Even after being given numerous chances he continued to show a lack of respect to to Nick, Simon and the moderating team, who are only here to try and make your time on the site as enjoyable as possible.

So please, enough with the posts defending a user who has clearly been abusive.....on numerous occasions!!

I left a message on the forum for the moderating team, which did contain swearing, which i now apologise for as i knew the rules. I left the message on the forum as i never seem to get a reply from the contact us. your the moderator in question, no wonder your fighting for him not to be back.

That’s an incorrect statement if I’ve ever heard one. To suggest I’m all for having a user banned because they have a problem with me is just absurd to be honest.

I’ve been given a job to do here, and if that means trying to implement rules which are put in place for the benefit of the majority of users, that is what I will do and keep doing. If this upsets a minority of users who like to jump the gun before reviewing all the facts, then that’s unfortunate.

I’ll say again, suggesting I have a grudge towards any user on this site has no basis in truth. 99% of the users who I talk to are polite and reasonable people, and I’m sure if they ever have a problem they will present it in a sensible manner, instead of the offensive method adopted by abusive users like the one in question.

Jesus christ (Don't condemn me). He was posting for Shaun and hasn't put a foot wrong in 3 years, also one of the most genuine players around and now your on about banning the guy from the forum. He hasn't done that much wrong, just chill out for gods sake......

PS: Agreed that the rules are here for users personal safety and the admin/mods who have commented on this thread are just sticking to them (doing their job). It's a tough one to call, I think we should accept Shaun's fate, cap this malarky and simply call it a day. Shaun had enough warnings so keep him banned. Snooker is up to admin but Derp didn't do alot wrong in my opinion....
