There's something that happens in chat room again and again and again...
someone posts "**** you mother****** your mums are buses 50p a ride. u mums rugby bal everyone gets a try ur mums r tvs they get turned on by lik kids so **** you " ... it's exactly the same abuse every night...but the thing is, it's a different Guest every time...every few seconds, a different guest....Really annoying. And there are never visible mods online when it's happening..

Ok, its true i was just in the chat room and i seen every thing.

i got a little idea now

why dont nick make a system to boot guest by members. its like report button

every time the guests start off we can use the button to boot the guests. its like sending them warnings if they don't listen to it after 3 warnings they get boot also save a chat log to see if the members are lieing or not

I see the idea..needs modifying...how about, if 4/5/6 members all vote to boot a guest, they get booted...if that many members are That annoyed at a guest that they're booting them, something's wrong...any comments?

member send report....the guest is on a chat log
report sends warning
guest000: ***** this that *****
member sends report again
last warning to the guest
guest000:********
member sends again
guest000: is booted for swearing etc

chat log: guest000:***** you ****
if more than 1 member sends a report it will only come up as the guest said it once....
(EDIT: if member is lieing about the stuff, the member will get banned also mods and admins should read the chat log every day)

Booting by one member is SO open to abuse it's impossible...but from the chat room, I don't see why complaints from multiple users couldn't be used to boot guests...in a two hour period tonight no mod or admin has been online to boot people...and the idiots in the chat room have made it almost impossible to talk in there...

if any member could boot any guest at will, then some people would just go in and boot guests for fun! If it needs four/five people...they're unlikely to just be going around all booting the same guest for kicks!

there should b sum facility to sort out problems in these stupid hours that the mods and admin sleep in thou

well it would help alot to have more moderators on at all times, but as many people no they are humans...lol.....you made a bit of sense

I think we now have a very strong coverage of moderators across the site.

Also Nick has put an auto-boot system in place for guests that rack up a few offences incase a mod isnt around.

In the stretch of a few hours yesterday, I came across a game called "NO NIG.GAZ 2", which was there for about an hour...and I was in the chat room for about two hours...during that whole time, there were no visible mods online...and non-stop abuse in the chat-room...made it almost impossible to actually chat.

And how do they clamp down on this? By releasing some mods, so there's less people to keep order. But to be honest if you are getting abused by guests, then join the members bar where there are none and select the ignore all guests option. That way you will never come into contact with one.

How about you just mute the guests, there never going to get any better, mute them and there will be no problems

This is ment to be a family site, what if a little child is playing and there mother walks in a saw all that abuse/swearing, doesn't make a good impression

the problem isnt only guests,theres nothing but abuse threw the u.s tourneys of players either pm, n u or coming into the rooms just to abuse u.this is something that needs to be monitored by mods.

Swing is right, its almost impossable to chat when this person does this And he does do it EVERY night im there! For some unknown reason tho, he pm's me and ALWAYS apologises before he does it!!! (whether its someone who knows me but doesnt want to say i dont know)
Last nite when he pm'd me, rather than close i responded, this was mainly to keep him from annoying other ppl in main and apparently he is doing it because of Pool_life???? (so he says) and he wants to point out to ppl how: I Quote: " How Sh!t the mods are at they're job*.....
Anway,last thing he said was he had spoke to Propa_common and was about to say sorry to all (never happened unless he pm'd).
Mattaus, ive noticed the auto booting thing, but if this was enabed last night it certaliny wasnt working!!It is a good thing, but they just log on again and again!! Thank god for the ignore button, i'll certainly be using it a lot more........
