Could anyone please please tell me what tactics (if any) do they use in a final.. Cos whatever i do Attacking / Defensive.. I still end up losing.. By the way the 3 UK tourny's i got were all genst Adepts i think.. So i want some tips.

Okies - well i've only won 1 tourny lol, but the best thing to do is not to lose your head, imagine its not an important match, it will relieve the pressure and you will play better

I think you should just play your normal game. After all thats what got you to those finals in the first place. Remember if you lose it might not be because you used the wrong tactics, your opponent might just have played very well.

I go for luck, every time. So far, that approach has won me One tournament!! I've got to a few finals, but always lost them. However, the one that I won, I really, really, really needed to go to the toilet. I found it concentrated my mind wonderfully!

ste thats like me m8 i lose it and if u also think ur going to lose then u will wen i won my 1st tourny i thought i was going to win and i did just keep it cool and u will be fine m8. I cant really speak only got 6 tournys wins to my names. so hope my rubbish tips win u sum cheers.

i like swings idea i needed 1 yesterday in my final n i won it then ran to the bog ! lol ste u still have more tournys than me dont complain lol

Blinding post mate. I was thinking that, I always get you, especially in the US tourny's, where they are normally close encounters. Don't think you've beaten me yet though.

Any one got any tips for not being nervous in a final as yet another semi has been blown away by my sillyness.. toonarmy suggested having a brew , hehe any others?

A great example of me throwing a final away , 4:00pm afternoon tourny just , 2-0 up against Guess_Who of all people and throw the game 3-2... At the moment I feel the most Unluckiest guy on the game...

My tip for UK is just play defensive. Do alot of practice table work and it comes together quickly.
Also if you have time watch middles_boro, danny777 (Pagulyan) or fry play. Best potters on game and very creative, can learn alot in a short space of time.

Don't change your game because that just puts more pressure on you, play the same

Thanks you two ^^^ , On the note of changing games , my poor play in finals at the moment could be the fact of me changing Tables , Uk and Us.. If i stick to the US for the time being i could be imprpved.

i can tell you the perfect rule..

tell yourself you will win it, an make the opponent choke....snooker them when in a tight situation. and hang on tight!!!!
