how do i convince my dad that being 16 is old enough to drive a car

Take advice from your dad not from some people off here who are not old enough to drive.
Your Dad knows you better than anyone on here so he has the better judgement about you.
Some people are mature and responsible some arent.....still, 16 is too young, theres a lot of idiots out there.
Remember driving lessons are,in real terms engineered to help you pass your test and give you road knowledge to a minimum standard, Its only when you pass ur test is when you learn how to drive by adopting your own style.
Wether thats of a good driver or some prat who thinks they know everything. Using a mobile phone when driving is not cool no matter how good you think ur perceptions are.

i think id be a great driver and u can drive ehere at 16 if ur parents sign for you

im 18 years old, i know that 16 is a very dodgy age to be driving, then again, if your sensible enough and mature enough, i dont see the problem, but parents are parents lol

no matter what though listen to your Dad dont rush into it because you feel you are missing out, at the end of the day Your Dads decision im sure isnt meant to be cruel but just plain Good advice.
Also Theres a lot of Bikers out there that are gonna scare ther life out of you and that mite make you make a mistake LOL... ;-)

Depends on where you live, I suppose.

I do not know your habits, so I will not judge or lecture you. If you haven't done this already, why not ask your father to come along with you as you drive in a safe area, to prove your responsibility behind the wheel? :-)
