Noticed that the tournies are now all 1 hour ahead due to the time change, are they going to stay this way?

They're still set to Grenwich Mean Time (GMT) British time zone, is now set to British Summer Time (GMT +1{BST}).
I'm not sure whether it's likely to be a permanant thing, although the 9 ball tournaments should be added soon.
There will probably be a tournament on the hour once the 9 ball tournaments get added to the rota, so the time zone change shouldn't really matter.
Hope this helps :)

Well , the time change for me probably means the end of my tournament career here...as I would be out for the final 45 mins and would therefore miss semi and finals. Maybe the start times will be returned to normal and I can continue...but for now it looks like retirement from tourneys :(

...and my return to them! Shame for you m8, just goes to show how u cant win em all!!
I suspect they may be moving to hourly with the 9ball being introduced?
Hopefully the times will be reduced a little by then too...

Revert to the old times for UK and US (e.g 10 , 2 , 6 ,10...etc for Uk.. and 12 , 4 , 8.. for the US... But put the 9ball US in between the hrs of UK and US so their is one every hour.. Is this confirmed?

The new tournament slots (including US 9 ball tournaments) have been updated and will begin tomorrow.

depending on popularity will the slots be able to move round in the future? Say Every1 enters the UK tourny, it means that about 16 players in that cant enter the 9 ball one.
If US 8 ball tourny numbers aren't as high as UK 8 ball could these 2 be swtiched so that the order goes UK 8 ball, US 8 ball, US 9 ball.
I'd imagine that the US 9 ball tournies won't take so long so there shouldn't be so much of a problem for the entering US 9 ball tourny and then the US 8 ball one, apart from maybe the last 2 or 4 players in the semis/final.

The plan will be that the slots won't move around, even with the hours difference when the clocks change. But of course, if there are problems with the current timetable, then we can be flexible.

Why are US 8 ball tournaments where all the UK tournaments used to be? i.e. the slots that were decided to be the best possible slots for 3 hour gaps. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY???????!!!!
Could there be a vote on it? It could be a good way to introduce a weekly/monthly pool onto the site

I agree Dave(Squeezy) the UK and the US 8 ball should be swapped around as this made it popular your right Squeezy we need a poll.. I know I will be on Squeezy's side with this one... anyone else agree?

Tournament times will no longer change to match daylight saving time changes.
The most popular tournament was the 7pm tournament. This tournament is now on at 7pm or 8pm depending on whether winter or summer time. (Don't blame me, I didn't invent the summer time changes).
But with different tournaments on any hour I'd advise you to play the first tournament when you come online, whatever it is, to add a bit of variety to your game
